Visually impaired people can use their sense of sight only to a limited extent, or perhaps not at all. So, they need help from assistive technology to perform various subtasks of travel activity. Stray Animal detection and warning can improve the mobility as well as the safety of the visually impaired people especially in unfamiliar environments. Hence we have designed an animal detection model to detect and classify stray animals particularly on Indian streets which is lightweight and can be deployed on modular devices.
