Dengue is the mosquito-borne disease caused by four related viruses. These are generally spread by Aedes mosquitoes which breeds in freestanding water. This disease generally occurs due to change in climatic conditions, specifically change in temperature, precipitation levels and humidity. Thus people living in tropical and subtropical areas are more likely to be affected by this disease.
