About the work

Empower Global Tech AI Pvt. Ltd. is the engine behind LeadingIndia.ai, one of India's largest AI skilling initiatives, trusted by 1.03M+ students and 1.1K+ academic institutions. We are rebuilding and launching our dedicated AI media wing, from the ground up. The goal is to create a credible, student-friendly, India-focused AI media platform covering research papers, AI product updates, startups, policy, tools, and career-relevant AI trends. This is not a routine content-writing internship. The selected intern will help build the editorial voice, newsletter format, research process, and content strategy of a new AI media property.

Responsibilities

1. Research global AI updates: Track arXiv, IEEE, Hugging Face, GitHub, Google DeepMind, OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta AI, Microsoft Research, tech news outlets, and startup announcements to identify important developments.
2. Write explainers and articles: Convert complex AI research and product updates into clear, accurate, engaging articles for students, faculty, and early-stage builders.
3. Build the weekly AI newsletter: Curate the top AI updates of the week and explain why they matter for Indian engineering colleges, students, professors, and startups.
4. Avoid generic AI content: Use AI tools responsibly, but do not submit copy-pasted or generic AI-generated writing. The final output must have a human editorial voice, original framing, and verified sources.
5. Experiment with formats: Help test article formats, short explainers, interviews, LinkedIn posts, newsletter sections, and student-friendly content series.
6. Fact-check before publishing: Support source verification, link checking, citation tracking, and correction of unsupported claims before content is published.

Who can apply

1. Strong writers: You should be comfortable writing clear, structured English. Perfect technical knowledge is not required, but clarity and curiosity are essential.
2. Tech-curious minds: You do not need to know how to code, but you must be genuinely interested in AI, LLMs, startups, research papers, and the future of technology.
3. Careful researchers: You should be able to separate a real breakthrough from hype, marketing claims, and unsupported social-media noise.
4. Builders and experimenters: We are building this platform from scratch. You should be willing to try new formats and improve quickly based on feedback.
5. Responsible AI users: You may use AI tools for research, brainstorming, and structure, but you must verify facts, rewrite in your own voice, and disclose how AI tools were used when asked.
